新闻中心DLS公司（DLS Svenska AB）于1980年成立，前身是一个工程公司。在1983~1985年期间，DLS将“component kit”系统引入到汽车音响市场。这是DLS进入这个市场的关键。如今他们能自信的说，今天我们是行业内高端制造商之一。DLS目前的重点放在生产自己的驱动和高音喇叭。
Mats Andersen，在离开QLN后，过去的四年半时间里一直为DLS工作。在他与他的同伴Nils Liljeroth分开后，QLN被出售掉了，DLS为Mats在DLS提供了发展机会。
Mats Andersen自从1979年就开始在扬声器领域工作并且在斯堪的纳维亚作为一个创新型的扬声器设计师是非常有名的。Mats在哥德堡尔姆斯理工大学获得了声学学位。Mats和DLS相信他创造的扬声器现在已经超越了他过去在QLN期间设计的任何扬声器。主要的原因就如同今天他设计的驱动。
